Earls Court Gardens

Although forlorn, fire-damaged and untouched for 70 years, this house had good bones and a large southerly rear garden. Significant structural alteration allowed us to extend and completely open up the lower ground floor level to provide that central London rarity: sitting, dining and garden spaces, all on one level. We commissioned a superb in-situ terrazzo floor, used reclaimed Panga Panga parquet, concealed air-conditioning and also designed a range of special fitted furniture. An almost-secret building at the end of the garden contains his and hers art studios.
